When you show up for the first day of your internship, you probably don’t anticipate finding the love of your life… but when the boy across the hall passes you a note, of course you take it! That’s what happened with Nick and Victoria. Nick took the first shot, handing a note with his number on it to Victoria. Unfortunately for Nick, his handwriting was so bad that she couldn’t read it. Luckily, love found a way and Victoria hopped onto Skype with the mission of getting Nick’s number. The rest is history.
After meeting Victoria and Nick in person for their engagement session, we became fast friends. They were both playful, hilarious and had a very apparent love for each other. Just like I knew it would be after meeting them, their wedding day was the perfect balance of intimate and fun. When Nick saw Victoria for the first time during their first look, he burst into tears and all the emotions of the day broke through. Their simple ceremony at St. Paul’s showed off the couple’s love for each other in the most authentic and beautiful way. Once it was done, in true Nick and Victoria fashion, the party started!
The reception was a true celebration of the two. Speeches were lively and hilarious and the dance floor at The Pella was the most packed our team had ever seen. Every guest was dancing, singing, and celebrating alongside Nick and Victoria. After Victoria snuck away for a quick outfit change she burst back onto the dance floor. All of her guests were on their feet cheering, yelling, and having the time of their lives. Hair up and mini dress on, she was ready to party! One of my favorite photos of the day is Victoria alongside her mother partying on the dance floor.
Before the party was quite over, the room cleared, and Victoria and Nick stuck around on the dance floor. They held each other for one last private song, dancing under the disco balls.
