Allison and Cameron’s Leo Ballroom Omaha wedding was the definition of black-tie chic, set right in the heart of Nebraska. From fireworks to a surprise cheerleader performance, this wedding was unforgettable from beginning to end! As their Omaha wedding photographer, I was thrilled to document every editorial moment of their high-energy day.
These two were such a joy to work with — from Allison’s bubbly personality to Cameron’s detail-oriented perspective. From getting ready in the morning to their final farewell, I had such a great time capturing their big day. Keep scrolling to see the full celebration!
Allison stunned in a strapless gown with detached puff sleeves, paired with strappy Christian Louboutin heels that brought extra flair to her bridal look. Her earrings were the perfect finishing touch. Cameron kept it classic and sleek in a white tuxedo jacket, black pants, and a black bow tie. The wedding party matched the black-tie optional vibe flawlessly — bridesmaids in elegant black dresses and groomsmen in tuxes to match Cameron.
Chosen for its vintage architecture and timeless feel, Leo Ballroom served as both ceremony and reception site for Allison and Cameron. The couple’s black and white palette was reflected throughout the space, creating a edgy yet chic look for the evening.
They said their vows in front of loved ones during a ceremony that felt just as stylish as it did sincere. The ballroom’s ambiance perfectly matched the elegant and editorial vision they set out to create.
Before the reception, I snuck out with the newlyweds to capture portraits at the Joslyn Art Museum, which is just across the street from Leo Ballroom. The venue’s architectural beauty provided the perfect backdrop for clean, bold, and iconic portraits — the front steps are an absolute dream setting!
As an Omaha wedding photographer, I often guide brides through feeling confident in front of the camera. But Allison, a professional cheerleader, brought a different dynamic. She was incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and trusted me to capture both the editorial shots she envisioned and the timeless, smiling-at-the-camera moments that her family will treasure for years.
Guests entered a reception space filled with bold black bows — tied around menus, champagne coupes, and subtle details throughout the room. The couple made their entrance with bottle service, t-shirt tosses, and sky-high energy. Marquee letters lit up the stage, spelling “The Rieckes” in true show-stopping fashion.
After a choreographed first dance full of dips and lifts, Allison and 23 of her fellow Denver Broncos Cheerleaders took the stage for a surprise performance that brought down the house—complete with pom-poms and electric energy. Cold sparks lit up the dance floor, and the party never slowed down.
Allison and Cameron, I hope you never stop making an entrance, turning up the music, and dancing through life together with the same energy you brought to your wedding day!
