Hey there! I'm Erin. I like to tell you a little bit about me before I ask ALL the details about you on my inquiry page. Whether I'm going to be there for the most important day of your life or there to capture another moment — I think it's important to get to know each other! So here it goes: I am Omaha born and raised, where you can find me scoping out the best brunch spots, grabbing an iced coffee, or finding some buffalo-flavored anything. In the winter, I’m probably cuddled up with my husband, baby, and pup or I'm chasing better weather in another state.
My husband, Collin, and I frequent San Diego because we are secretly beach bums at heart! We are both goal-chasers but also mellow people persons. Even in Omaha we love being outdoors, especially playing tennis or frequenting the dog park with our adorable pup. Collin and I met in college. He waited patiently for my I-don’t-need-no-man personality to warm up to him...and it worked. Think of that “boy chases girl, sings her a song, and woos her” movie script and that’s pretty much our story. We got married in the fall of 2019, so trust me when I say that we can relate if you are currently wedding planning— the ups, downs, fun parts, and… not so fun parts ;)
That being said, I know how big of a decision choosing your wedding photographer is, so thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me! My camera has been glued to my hand for weddings since 2014, but I started following my five sisters around with a camera even before that. I like to think that I was meant to be a photographer from the get-go. I was born for this.
I love being a photographer here in Omaha because it means being a part of a tight knit community. Some of my favorite people are also photographers; maybe you know them too!
I'm suuuuuper stoked you are here trying to get to know me!
Please read on to hear why I'd be the best photographer for you!
Candid, classic, non-cheesy photos.
If you want to look back on your photos 70 years from now and still smile, you're in the right place.
So, what's it like to work with me?
Chances are, you've probably never planned a wedding before. I've done this a time or two and I'm happy to be both your photographer and friend. I'll help you feel natural and at ease in front of the camera and behind the scenes I'll do everything I can to help you be fully present on your big day.
I have been known to get down on my knees to bustle the bride's dress, pull safety pins out of my bag to fix ripped pants on the party bus, and even pull out sandwiches and water after the ceremony for brides that are too nervous to eat before hand.
If you are looking for classic, true-to-color, full-of-life photos, you have come to the right place!
One recent bride went as far to describe my photos as "fresh as a Windexed window".
If you want to look at your photos a decade from now and feel like you're looking from a window back to your wedding day, keep reading.
Your wedding photos will look clean, crisp, and authentic — a look that never goes out of style.
I am the right amount of go-with-the-flow and type A that you will need to get shit done on your wedding day. I have a relaxed personality that keeps the mood fun and light, but I’m also a girl with a plan.
From joking around and belly laughs to crying from behind the camera when things get emotional, when you book me, you are getting someone who cares—a lot. Not a moment will be missed when I am on your team!
Let me worry about taking ponytails off of wrists and phones out of pockets so you can just worry about getting married! At the end of the day, I am here for you and ready to celebrate with you. Just think of me as the bridesmaid you never knew you needed! I’ll have everything covered.
